Our PRocess
-
We start with a conversation. We’ll discuss your goals and explore what’s possible within your budget and priorities.
Then, we’ll move to an on-site consultation to walk the property together and get a better understanding of your needs and desires for your outdoor living space.
We’ll follow up with either a design proposal or a detailed estimate.
-
We study the land. We get to know the soil, sun, water flow, and existing vegetation to understand how to work with the existing natural systems on your property. This foundation sets every project up for long-term success.
-
Our team translates your vision into a cohesive design that reflects your lifestyle and the site’s unique ecology. We’ll review the plan together and refine it before moving into the build phase.
-
Once the final design is approved, our crew brings the design to life with exceptional craftsmanship and clear communication throughout the process. From planting to patios, we take pride in every detail.
-
Healthy landscapes evolve. We provide ongoing maintenance guidance and support so your garden continues to thrive season after season.

Questions? We’ve Got Answers
We know that choosing the right landscape partner is a big decision. Here are a few of the most common questions clients ask when getting started. Don’t see your question addressed here? Contact us and we’d love to help.
-
Yes. We offer seasonal and ongoing care focused on soil health, habitat support, and long-term resilience. Our maintenance approach helps gardens mature beautifully and stay aligned with their original design intent.
-
A site plan is the foundation of any well-executed landscape project. It includes essential details like property boundaries, existing features, topography, drainage patterns, utilities, and structures. From there, the design can layer in proposed elements such as plantings, pathways, patios, and irrigation systems.
Having a detailed site plan ensures that every decision, from plant placement, grading, water flow, and material choice, works in harmony with the land. It also helps avoid costly surprises during construction and creates a shared roadmap for everyone involved in bringing your landscape to life.
-
We specialize in complete landscape transformations, sustainable development, and HOA water conservation projects. We take on everything from design-only projects to full design-build installations and ongoing ecological maintenance. Whether you’re replacing a water-hungry lawn with a beautiful low-water garden, creating a serene outdoor living space, or focused on creating a resilient native pollinator garden, we tailor every project to the unique character of your site.
-
Yes. Our design team frequently works with homeowners and HOAs who plan to phase their project over time or install portions themselves. Every design package includes a clear, build-ready plan that can be implemented at your pace.
-
We recommend reaching out at least one season before you’d like to see work begin. Our design process typically takes 4-8 weeks, depending on the project scope, and we book installation timelines months in advance.
-
Every project is unique, but we provide clear budget guidance at each step. Our custom landscape designs generally start around $2500 and increase based on size and complexity of the project. Installation costs vary widely based on size, materials, and the scope of the project. We focus on long-term value. Creating landscapes that thrive for decades, not just one season.
-
Yes. Ecological integrity is at the heart of what we do. Our plant palettes emphasize natives, regionally adapted species, and waterwise choices that support pollinators, birds, and soil health.

A landscape architect is a licensed professional trained to design and oversee projects that impact the the public. From neighborhood-scale master plans to commercial and civic landscapes. They’re qualified to handle complex site planning, grading, drainage, and code compliance.
A garden designer, on the other hand, typically works on smaller residential projects and focuses on the aesthetic and horticultural aspects of planting design.
While both bring creativity and expertise to outdoor spaces, landscape architects bring a deeper technical and regulatory background that’s essential for larger or more complex projects.
Our designers and project managers are both licensed Landscape Architects. Thanks to their expertise, they can take on large, complex projects .
-
We take a sustainable, long-term approach to weed management. Weed seeds can live in the soil for up to 8-10 years, so some weeding is always part of garden care. We recommend managing weeds by hand-pulling before they go to seed, planting densely to cover the soil, and using mulch to suppress new growth. Over time, as your plants fill in, weeds naturally lessen and become easier to manage.
